Terms of Use

The short version: ER4Kids is an educational resource for parents, not a doctor's visit. By using this website or the ER4Kids app, you agree to these terms.

Educational purpose only

All content on er4kids.com — guides, blog posts, FAQs, and app descriptions — is for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it does not create a doctor-patient relationship between you and Dr. Ozcan or ER4Kids.

When to seek care

Always use your own judgment and, when in doubt, call your pediatrician or go to the emergency department. If you believe your child is experiencing an emergency — including difficulty breathing, unresponsiveness, or a seizure lasting more than 5 minutes — call 911 immediately.

No warranties

This website and its content are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. While every guide is reviewed by a board-certified pediatric emergency medicine physician, medicine evolves and no online resource can cover every situation. ER4Kids is not liable for decisions you make based on this content.

Acceptable use

You may read, link to, and share our pages for personal, non-commercial use. Please do not copy or republish our content without permission. Contact us if you would like to license ER4Kids content for your practice or organization.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as ER4Kids evolves. The current version will always be posted here.
